  • 1/2 c tamari
  • 1/2 c agave nectar
  • 4 T toasted sesame seed oil
  • 2 T garlic, minced
  • 2 T ginger, minced
  • red pepper flakes, to taste
  • 3 T vegetable broth
  • 2 c broccoli
  • 1 c diced red pepper
  • 2 c sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 c roasted cashews
  • 5 c whole-wheat spaghetti, cooked

  1. To make the stir-fry sauce, mix tamari, agave, sesame oil garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Set aside
  2. Add vegetable broth to a heated skillet. Add all vegetables, and saute until crisp-tender.
  3. Add stir-fry sauce, and saute a bit longer, making sure the veggies soak in the sauce some.
  4. Add roasted cashews.
  5. Add spaghetti, and stir until mixed in.

  • You can substitute soy sauce or Bragg’s liquid aminos for tamari.
  • Use whatever vegetables you have on hand, such as bok choy, cabbage, sugar snap peas, etc.
  • 5 cups of whole wheat spaghetti is MOST of a standard box of spaghetti.
